Andrew Saullo releases the Resident Evil: Resurrection short film starring the original Chris Redfield, Barry Burton and Albert Wesker.
Director/Producer Andrew Saullo is back with another video featuring a trio of actors from the original Resident Evil scenes. This time it's a short film called Resident Evil: Resurrection, which stars Charlie Kraslavsky, Greg Smith, and Erik Pirius, reprising their roles as Chris Redfield, Barry Burton, and Albert Wesker, respectively.
In the three-minute short, Chris Redfield teams up with former teammate Barry Burton to take on Albert Wesker again. If you remember the image of Kraslava as Chris that surfaced online in June, it was Resident Evil: Resurrection.
Saullo states that the short was made with minimal resources, but could potentially be turned into a more detailed short with higher production values if fans show interest. This will be separate from Saullo's main project, an adaptation of The Guardian's Diary, in which Kraslavsky will play the role of the Umbrella researcher (aka "Keeper") responsible for preparing Arklay's laboratory animals for experiments.
Saullo teamed up with the guys from Residence of Evil to give Diary of a Guardian the boost it needed, which is why they put up this series of Saullo videos. Coincidentally, Residence of Evil is working on their version of The Guardian's Diary called "The Guardian", directed by Sean Lebert.
