THR reports that "The Conjuring 2" and "The Conjuring: By the Devil's Will," screenwriter David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick has been attached to write the new installment in the "Conjuring" film series.
James One and Peter Safran also returned as producers, who have worked on every installment in the franchise so far.
The Conjuring films are based on the real-life cases of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played in the film by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, respectively. Both of them are expected to return for the upcoming installment of the film, although no agreements have been made at this time.
