Valack returns in The Nun 2 from director Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil's Wish), and Deadline brings us more casting news today.
Anna Popplewell (The Chronicles of Narnia franchise) and Catelyn Rose Downey (Purge) have joined the cast of James Wan's sequel, which is currently filming.
Taissa Farmiga will return as Sister Irene, and Bonnie Aarons will reprise her role as the demonic nun known as Valak. Storm Reid (Euphoria) will lead the cast of the sequel.

In 2018, The Nun grossed $365 million worldwide, which all but guaranteed we hadn't seen the last of the demonic nun known as Valak.
As far as we know Akela Cooper (Wicked) will write the screenplay for The Nun 2.
