Saw 10 release date: When is Saw 10 coming out?
Saw 10 movie to be released 27 2023 October, the, just a few days before next year's Halloween.
The film will be directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously directed Saw VI and Saw 3D, also known as Saw: The Final Chapter. The first one received the best reviews since the original but made the least amount of money, and the second one wasn't the epic farewell that was talked about from the beginning.
Title of the movie "Saw 10": What is it called?
The tenth installment in the Saw franchise, following 2021's Spiral: From the Book of Saw, Saw 10 does not yet have an official title. We will update this information after the announcement.
Saw 10 Cast: Will Jigsaw be in Saw 10 and who else is in it?
No official casting has been announced for the film yet, but we will update this information as soon as more announcements are made.
According to a report from One Take News, the original Jigsaw, Tobin Bell, will return to the Saw 10 franchise as John Kramer. Producers Mark Burg and Oren Coles commented to One Take News: “What a pleasure to reunite with Tobin. His performance as John Kramer is part of the magic that made the franchise a phenomenon, and his character is an active part of this film."
Since Spiral is considered a spin-off, it's unlikely we'll see Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson or Max Minghella. However, it wouldn't be too wild to expect Cary Elwes to return as Dr. Lawrence Gordon.
Saw 10 Plot: What will the film be about?
There are currently no official plot details for Saw 10, but we will update this information if new announcements become available.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the plot and characters are being kept under wraps, but "fans can rest assured that the new film will capture their hearts—and other parts of their bodies—with all-new twists, inventive traps, and a new mystery to solve."
In a statement, "Saw" producers Mark Burg and Oren Coles said, "We've listened to what fans have been asking for and are working hard to create a film that both Saw fans and horror fans will enjoy."
“And part of that job is handing over the reins to Kevin Greutert, the director of Saw VI, which is still one of the most beloved in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon."
Given the disappointing reception of Inside Out and Spiral, the former of which expanded on Inside Out's origins and the latter of which took place years after the "final chapter", it wouldn't be a surprise to see a return to where Saw 3D left off. Spoiler warning for the Saw franchise...
After Matt Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) wreaked havoc for several films, The Final Chapter ended with him being captured by a secret third student: Dr. Lawrence Gordon, who left him for dead in the same bathroom from the first film.
