New DLC Vampire Survivors appeared just in time to spend the holidays with the family, sitting by the warm fireplace and exterminating countless hordes of pixel monsters in one of the most amazing exciting roguelike games of 2022. DLC is coming with patch 1.2.0 Vampire Survivors, which updates the base game for DLC and makes some minor changes and fixes. It also adds an "important" new skin for Pepino, the tree.
The DLC, Legacy of the Moonspell, was first announced just a couple of weeks ago. A new launch trailer is now available that goes into more detail about what you'll find on the new big map, Mt. Moonspell:
If you have unlocked the Inlaid Library, then the new level will immediately become available in the stage selection menu. After that, you can use the 17 new unlocks as a guide to finding the rest of the new content in the DLC.
Legacy of the Moonspell is available with a 10% discount for $1,79 / £1,43 for the first week. Developer poncle says it was a price that "feels about right" and "reflects the production values."
"For DLC Vampire Survivors I still had to fill in some gaps, such as with asset packs, so the low price and frequent discounts seem fair,” writes poncle. “We'll charge more for new material when we have something even better, don't worry and thanks again!”
