Looking for what Sons of the Forest Hotkeys? Below you will find the answer. While the game of survival Sons of the Forest continues to dominate the charts Steam, developer Endnight Games is working on making the Early Access game a better experience for players. A new fix was released today, and while it's small, it takes into account a few important community requests.

В Sons of the Forest there was no hotkey system at the start, so players could only get an item in their hands by opening the inventory and clicking on the desired item, or by adding items to the backpack, then picking up the backpack and selecting the desired item or weapon from it. This system wasn't exactly user friendly and felt a little awkward, especially when you were being chased. angry cannibals.

But in today's fix, fortunately, a hotkey system has been added. You can now assign items to number keys (0-9) while working with inventory. Just hover over an item, such as a pistol, shotgun, or bow, and you'll see a small empty UI box above the item. Press a number from 0 to 9 and it will be assigned to that key. During the game, simply click on this number and the assigned item will appear right in your hands. So much better.

A few other small but nice changes: Pressing the Escape button now closes the building guide, the "grab bag" (when you're holding the backpack), and the tutorial, which improves the clunky interface a bit. Scene tooltips have also been improved for greater clarity, and additional tooltips have been added to the loading screen.

Note: If you are using mods, such as the debug console mod that allows you to play with cheat Sons of the Forest, you may have problems running these mods after the fix. At first I could not launch the game with mods, but a quick exit and restart Steam and the Thunderstore mod manager fixed the issue and now everything works as before.

Here are the full notes for today's update Sons of the Forest: Hotkeys:
