To celebrate the launch of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded, players can earn Double XP in both games from December 15 to 19. Make sure you take advantage of the extra experience boost and unlock all attachments so you can build the best Modern Warfare 2 weapons.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded – Raid
In Modern Warfare Season 1 Reloaded, the long-awaited raid called Atomgrad awaits you. It's available to anyone who owns Modern Warfare 2 and sees Price, Farah and Gaz chase their missing team in an underground bunker, making grim discoveries along the way.
Atomgrad requires three players to participate, with teamwork and communication taking precedence over everything as you try to unravel the mysteries of the bunker. To gain access to Atom City, you and your squad must complete the Raid mission, which can be completed in three ways:
- Complete a specific Daily Objective in Multiplayer or Spec Ops.
- Finish in the top 20 in a Warzone 2 match.
- Withdraw at least $30 cash in the DMZ.
After receiving a raid task, you will unlock access to Atomgrad for a week, after which you will need to receive another raid task in order to continue the fight.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded – Shipment
One of Call of Duty's most iconic maps, Shipment, returns with Season 1 Reloaded. A frenetic, chaotic grind festival perfect for unlocking attachments and completing camo challenges. Pair the Dispatch playlist with Double XP Weekend and you'll unlock more attachments than you can shake a sharpened stick.
From December 21 to January 4, Shipment will turn into a Christmas wonderland. The map has wreaths and candy scattered around the kill crate, and maybe some mistletoe as you get close to an enemy.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded - Battle Records
A feature missing at launch, Battle Recordings will be released with the first season reboot. Combat reports show detailed stats about your actions in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. These stats can be as basic as how many games you've played, or more complex stuff like your precise accuracy with each individual weapon. Unfortunately for those who have been winning since the launch of Modern Warfare 2, the combat recordings will only start recording on December 14th when Season 1 Reboot is released.
