Overwatch 2's first double XP weekend is about to begin as Blizzard is offering fans of its online multiplayer game a chance to make up for lost time and level up the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass as part of the Overwatch 2 Launch Compensation Package. Blizzard has promised a total of three separate XP doubles in the first season, and the first of these will come just before Overwatch 2's first Halloween event.

Overwatch 2 Twitter account says that broker Overwatch 2 Double XP Weekend October 21-24. It starts on October 21st at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST, and players will receive double in-game XP for all games played during this period. Your experience in Overwatch 2 is used to level up your Battle Pass, which means it should help you earn plenty of bonuses—even more so if you're playing on the paid premium tier.

Additionally, all new players will need to reach level 55 of the Battle Pass to unlock the new Kiriko support hero, so this double XP weekend will be the perfect opportunity to speed through those levels and reach them. It can also be obtained instantly by spending 1 Overwatch Coins on the Premium Battle Pass, which also increases XP gain by 000%, making leveling up even more effective.
