In a surprise announcement to mark the first anniversary of Total War: Warhammer 3, Creative Assembly announced that Warhammer 3 owners will now have free access to Immortal Empires, whether they own previous entries in the franchise or not. Previously, players were required to own all three Total War: Warhammer games to gain access to Immortal Empires.

If you update Total War: Warhammer 3 to the latest version, you will get free access to Immortal Empires. Immortal Empires is now out of beta and you can check out the full game with patch 2.4.

For those who don't know, Immortal Empires is a game mode that has been in development for over a year and combines all the maps, factions and campaigns from the Total War: Warhammer trilogy into one giant sandbox where players can experience the Warhammer universe with the latest gameplay mechanics. which were added with the release of Warhammer 3.

Recently, Rich Aldridge, game director for Warhammer 3, revealed that the team plans to release a new content expansion in April 2023. Although details about the DLC have yet to be revealed, the developer has revealed that it will be worth the long wait. In addition, players can expect two more expansions in the summer and winter. Development of Immortal Empires was Creative Assembly's main focus last year, but the team will now shift its focus to releasing new content.

In the first year after its release, Warhammer 3 received two expansions, as well as an effects pack. While the gap between the last expansion and the next one, which will release in April 2023, has been frustrating for the community so far, the game's director has previously stated that the next content will be "fucking interesting."

Total War: Warhammer 3 has been launched directly on PC Game Pass in 2022 and is still available through a subscription service. Thus, Immortal Empires is now a free update for Warhammer 3 players as well. Game Pass. Also on PC Game Pass the game Total War: Three Kingdoms is also available.
