Persona 5 Royal is getting a co-op card game next year

Although this is not the announcement of a new video game, Atlus announced, ht Person 5 Royal receives a card game adaptation.

A new card game based on Persona 5 Royal is being very specifically developed by Emerson Matsuuchi and published by Pandasauras Games, announced at publisher's website. According to Matsuuchi, "players will take on the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and fight to change the world in this cooperative card strategy game," although other than that, no other details were provided about what the game will actually be like.

Nathan McNair, co-owner of Pandasaura Games, also said, "As a die-hard Persona 5 Royal fan, I can't wait to see the palaces, Velvet Room, and world of Persona 2023 Royal hit tables everywhere in 5." The game appears to be slated for release in Q4 2023, which would be between October and December, although oddly enough the image on the website lists the release date as October 21st, so it could be then or later.

For Persona fans, there's all the good news at the moment (except that, again, no worthy sequel is in sight), as Atlus recently announced a release date. Persona 3 Portable и 4 Golden Person. Persona 3 Portable will release on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on January 19, while Persona 4 Golden will hit consoles the same day, having already been released on PC.

Persona 5 Royal will also be available on Game Pass at the end of this month, and 3 and 4 will join the service when it hits console this January.
