Charity organization GDQ banned the game Hogwarts Legacy and all other Harry Potter games, which means they will not participate in future events Games Done Quick. The organization, which regularly hosts fundraising events for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Doctors Without Borders and other charities, has added a game Hogwarts Legacy to the "banned games" list, as well as the entire Harry Potter series, but stated that this "may be reviewed in the future."

Games are added to the banned list if they include “content, types or origins that we have deemed inappropriate for our stream,” GDQ states. While GDQ says the list is "non-exhaustive," it includes games such as the original 2005 God of War, the entire Five Nights at Freddy's series, and any games that are rated "Adults Only" or banned on Twitch.
