Mortal Kombat 12 has been announced for 2023, according to a financial appeal from Warner Bros. Discovery for investors.

Confirmation of the announcement made by the EVP of the investor strategy company was published in a video on Twitter.

According to Andrew Slabin, Warner has "the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" coming out this year, each with ambitious launch projections.

There have been no hints or announcements about Mortal Kombat 12 before, but there have long been rumors on the Internet that it will appear in 2023. But even the creator of the franchise, Ed Boon, has not even hinted that it is in development. Of course, the Netherrealm team has been working on something for a long time, we just didn't know if it would be Mortal Kombat or not.

We hope that now that the cat is out of the bag, the official announcement will take place soon. And as soon as there is an announcement, you will definitely find out on Web54.
