If you haven't played Crytek's Hunt: Showdown yet (and it's a lot of fun, trust us!), Crytek is offering a few promotions for the game's fifth anniversary to get you hooked. Along with a brand new Twitch Drops campaign that offers a wide range of rewards, special anniversary crates containing various items are also available in the game.
Here's how it works. On each day of the Twitch Drops Anniversary Promotion, players can receive rewards for watching Hunt: Showdown streams. To participate in the promotion, players simply need to connect their Hunt and Twitch accounts and watch participating Twitch Drops-enabled streamers. The event schedule is as follows:
- February 23 - March 2: Stream for 180 minutes to unlock the Legendary Marquis Knife
- February 24 - March 2: Stream for 180 minutes to unlock Bornheim Legendary Weapon #3 "Alley Cat."
- February 25 - March 2: Stream for 210 minutes to unlock the Legendary Sawed-Off M1891 Mosin-Nagant "The Fifth Tale."
- February 27 - March 2: Stream for 210 minutes to unlock the Alligator Eye Weapon Charm.
- February 28 - March 2: Unlock Alligator Eye as a prerequisite and watch streams for 240 minutes to unlock Legendary Hunter Kill the Buyer.
Players can also receive an exclusive drop for watching one of the Night of the Hunter partners’ streams. To do this, from February 23 to March 2, you will need to watch streams for 210 minutes to unlock the Gift of Hera Weapon Amulet.
As for the special Hunt: Showdown Anniversary Crates, players who watch Twitch Drops-enabled streams for two hours a day will receive a crate containing a variety of items, including weapons, Hunt Dollars, and equipment. Up to four Anniversary Hunt Crates can be earned each day during Twitch Drops.
Hunt: Showdown is available on PC at Steam, as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
