Nothing beats the immersive experience of an MMORPG. Games such as World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV, have amassed incredibly strong player bases, many of whom log into the game regularly to this day.
When XL Games released ArcheAge in 2013, it became an instant hit, garnering millions of players over the past ten years. Now the developers have announced that a sequel, ArcheAge 2, is in development.

When is the ArcheAge 2 release date?
There is currently no set release date for ArcheAge 2, but XL Games has said that fans can look forward to it. sometime in 2024.
The game is in the early stages of development, but currently over 100 developers are working on bringing it to life.
ArcheAge 2 Platforms
ArcheAge 2 is being developed as for PC and consoleth, which means that, unlike the first game, PlayStation and Xbox players will also get access to the game.
There is no word yet on whether the game will be current-gen only (PS5, Xbox Series X/S) or whether it will support crossplay across all platforms.
Gameplay ArcheAge 2
ArcheAge is going to keep many of the gameplay features that made the first game unique while expanding on them. The game will have a huge open world and XLGames CEO Jake Song in a recent interview MMORPG.com said the team aims to offer "non-linear progression" with an emphasis on players discovering stories for themselves.
Combat will again play an important role, the game will have a lot of artificial intelligence enemies that can be defeated around the world, including dragons, as well as a PvP element. Trading operations also returned from the first game, and this time they can be done solo, in a team or as part of a raid.
Another returning system is the housing building feature, meaning players will be free to build their own homes in any suitable location in the world. But in ArcheAge 2, the developers will go even further: they will allow players to live in cities with their friends and offer more options for customization.
Not much is known about the gameplay in ArcheAge 2 yet, but more features are likely to be revealed ahead of the game's launch.
