The sixth film in the series "Destinationwill have two directors, both were announced this afternoon.
Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stine, best known for the 2018 sci-fi thriller The Others, will direct the highly anticipated filmDestination 6". Very little is known about the plot other than the simple concept at the heart of the franchise, which involves someone cheating death and it catches up with them.
Producers of the film "Destination 6" will be Craig Perry - producer of the original franchise, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts and Dianna McGunigle. The script is written by Guy Busiek and Laurie Evans Taylor.
More than ten years have passed since the release of the last part of "Last destination", which brought the franchise total worldwide revenue of more than $660 million. A sixth installment has been in development since 2019, when the project was described as a reimagining of the horror-thriller franchise.
Film Destination 6 does not have an official release date at the time of writing. Estimated release date 2024.
