Pokemon Go players will soon be able to take part in the Evolving Stars event starting next week and running from October 5th to October 11th.

The Pokémon Cosmog already debuted in Season of Light, and now its evolution Cosmoem, the Protostar Pokémon, will be coming to the game.

Along with the addition of a new Pokémon evolution, you can also look forward to evolution-themed field research and four collectible quests where you can get evolution-related items.

The Season of Light event continues the story of Cosmog and will unlock special research that will take you on a new adventure with Cosmog.

You will be able to evolve a Cosmog into a Cosmoem using 25 Cosmog Candies, and it is rumored that there will be an opportunity to meet another Cosmog in the far future. So if you have only one Cosmog, feel free to develop it.

During the event on Saturday October 8th, Mega Gyarados Raid Day is expected. On this day, you will be able to get up to five additional Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs in Gyms, and you will have an increased chance of encountering the brilliant Gyarados.

The following Pokémon will also spawn more frequently during the Evolving Stars event: Kakuna, Slowpoke, Pidgeotto, Drowzee, Poliwhirl, Natu, Kadabra, Ralts, Haunter, Spoink, Rhyhorn, Munna, Seadra, Woobat, Scyther, Gothita, Eevee, Solosis, Swinub, Elgyem, Ralts,
Duskull, Tynamo and Litwick. Some of them may even be shiny.

In terms of raiding, you can expect Slowpoke, Onix, Scyther, Porygon, and Sunken in one-star raids. Three-star raids will feature Magneton, Rhydon, Togetic, and Piloswine.

Yveltal is currently appearing in five-star raids, and this Pokémon will be active until October 8th. After that, the magnificent Xerneas will appear until October 20th.

Mega Lopunny will remain in Mega raids until October 8, after which he will be replaced by Mega Manectric until October 20.
