We already have Dark Souls board games (Dark Souls The Board Game), but now, not surprisingly, there is also Elden's Ring board game on the way.

Company Steamforged Games, which also created the board game Dark Souls, announced on its website that an adaptation of the board game Elden Ring is in development. Like its predecessor Dark Souls, it is simply called Elden Ring The Board Game, although little is known about the board game itself. Funding for the game is planned through Kickstarter, which you can sign up for to be notified when the game launches.

“In a vast, sprawling world of declining grandeur that unfolds through your exploration, you'll embark on a vast and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters,” the description reads, also confirming that up to four players will be able to to play together.

Also shown was a render of Mar-gite, Omen of the Fall, as a very impressive minifigure. The announcement also mentions a confrontation with Godric's soldiers and "the Grafted King himself," so presumably the set will include other tough boss figures as well.

“Our mission is always to create authentic tabletop adaptations that capture the essence of what fans know and love about the IP,” said the co-founder Steamforged Games Mat Hart. “Fans should expect a dark, richly realized tabletop world of mystery and danger, with satisfying combat and rewarding exploration. Prepare to lose hours on this game and enjoy it.”

Sony and Tencent recently invested in Elden Ring developer FromSoftware, meaning the studio will be able to publish its own games in the future. All Souls and Elden Ring games were published by Bandai Namcoand Sekiro was published Activision, so this investment may give FromSoftware an opportunity to fork.
