Average game time aggregator HowLongToBeat has been added to the Xbox PC app Xbox application on PC.

According to Eurogamer, if you go to the Xbox app on PC, you'll notice that there's now a HowLongToBeat section, which shows how long it takes to complete the main story, the main story and expansions, a full game playthrough, and averages for all playstyles. HowLongToBeat's main goal is to literally tell you how long it will take you to beat the game, which can be useful if you plan your time carefully.

Of course, it is not guaranteed that the games listed there will run within the specified time as they are all based on user data. On the main site, you can find out the average, median, hurried and leisurely times for each category, which is usually the best indicator of how long it will take you personally to complete the game.

Xbox made the announcement on the Xbox Wire Blog with the September update for the Xbox App on PC. This was a major announcement for the app, although the latest update now makes the app launch 15% faster than before, along with some general fixes, as well as a reduction in game crashes and games not installing correctly.

Xbox made a lot of announcements at the Tokyo Game Show Game PassSuch as Ni No Kuni Remastered, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Danganronpa V3, and much more. Additionally, Deathloop is officially coming to Xbox next week on September 20th with a new update that will add new weapons, PvP crossplay, a new ability, new enemy types, and an extended ending.

PlayStation exclusive Death Stranding also recently joined PC Game Pass. Now you can find out how long it will take you to beat the game, although who knows if that matters given how long the cutscenes are.
