Overwatch 2's Mid-Season Update, which will make some changes to the support buff rebalance and bring Mei back to active, has been delayed, but not by much. The patch will now run in an FPS game Nov 17 at 11am PST / 2pm EST / 7pm GMT. The patch was originally scheduled for November 15, but Blizzard said a "critical issue" had to be resolved before deployment, resulting in a two-day delay.

The Overwatch 2 patch, when it arrives, will make some changes aimed primarily at helping support heroes perform more effectively. These include changes to Sombra's Hack ability, which reduces the duration of her lock and makes it so that hacked enemies can no longer be chained targets, as well as reducing Genji's ammo cap and the damage dealt by his shuriken.

The patch should also bring Mei back into active play. The Cold Climatologist was suspended from the game at the end of October due to a glitch with the ice wall - if she aimed a certain way, May could move back and forth on her ice wall, which is obviously not how ice walls are supposed to work.

Blizzard says The patch also includes "core content updates" and will include Overwatch League watch rewards that players could earn from October 30th to November 4th, so if you've been keeping an eye on the playoffs and been waiting for these skins, they should arrive on November 17th with this patch .
