Al Mazrah map has some very long aiming lines and our best equipment for Warzone 2 Victus XMR presents you with the most powerful ranged weapon in the game.

With maximum bullet speed and range, and some weight reduction to avoid being too bulky, our Victus XMR build is viable in both sniper and mid-range combat. We're still very early into the Warzone 2 game, so it's too early to tell if the Victus will be a key part of the best loadout in Warzone 2, or even one of the best Warzone 2 sniper rifles in the game.

We've included a couple of alternative tips below the main list in case you want to set up your Victus XMR a little differently.

Here is the best download for Warzone 2 Victus XMR:

  • Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops
  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity
  • Stock: XRK Rise 50
  • Rear handle: Bruen Q900 Grip

The goal of this build is to make the Victus XMR one of the deadliest Warzone 2 long-range guns in the game. The Bruen Counter-Ops barrel and Mack 8 33.5 Super barrel provide the sniper with the highest damage per shot in the game, which is slightly reduced by the high-velocity .50 Cal rounds—a vital trade-off since these bullets make long-range hits much easier.

These attachments add a ton of weight to an already heavy sniper rifle, so we opted for the Bruen Q900 Grip and XRK Rise 50 stock to make it a bit more mobile. Both of these attachments have shortcomings in recoil adjustment, which, fortunately, is not a big deal for bolt-action snipers.

If you want a much faster sniper, the easiest solution is to simply remove the choke tube, add 1 MW Quick Fire Laser, and change the barrel to a Mack 8 21.5 Short, which is essentially our top load for Modern Warfare 2 Victus XMR. If you need to pair it with a weapon, then we suggest the best Warzone 2 SMGs and, in particular, the best Warzone 2 minitank.

For perks, take Overkill, Battle Hardened, Focus, and Ghost. For gear we recommend Stim or Heartbeat Sensor and Drill Charge.
