Inspired by Dan Simmons' novel and based on a true story, Terror: Endless Night puts you in control of a crew and a ship stranded in the ice during a rescue voyage to HMS Erebus and HMS Terror. These two missing ships were on their way to the Arctic to find a passage to East Asia. Unfortunately, all contact with the crews of each ship was lost. Everything is complicated by the fate of your son, who is a member of the crew of the missing ships.

Each member of your ship's crew is an individual with their own skills and individual needs. You will need to take care of your crew as well as the ship. You will assign shifts, manage inventory, make laws - all in order to survive.

This includes making difficult decisions based on limited supplies to keep the crew alive. Will you show compassion, or will you reduce human lives under your command to cold calculation? Will you die with dignity, or will you use the body of a comrade as food to live another day?
