It's that time of year again, and of course Behavior Interactive's Dead by Daylight is getting in on the fun once again. In addition to the Haunted by Daylight event starting in a few weeks, Dead by Daylight will introduce a new tome featuring the face of the Haunter, new skins for Albert Wesker and Oni and more, as well as another free weekend for those who still haven't made the jump at The Fog.
From 13 October to 3 November
The Dead by Daylight celebration begins today and runs until November 3rd, when new Store Collections will be released. Along with the new Hallowed Blight Collection, a limited-time Tricks and Treats Collection will be available from October 11th to November 3rd. The Midnight Grove Collection will also return during this period, featuring two new very rare outfits for Michaela Reed and the Doctor. The Hallowed Blight Collection includes two very rare outfits: Onini will receive the Burning with Fury outfit, and Wesker will receive his own Blighted Wesker outfit.
Meanwhile, the Tricks and Treats Collection will include two new very rare outfits for Jane Romero and Dwight Fairfield - Hollywood Glam and Toilet Paper Mummy.
The newest Archive volume, Volume 13, will be released on October 12th and will contain memories for the beloved Ghostface Killer and Survivor Michaela Reed. “Players will get to delve into the evil mind behind the mask and discover what keeps horror fans up at night in Tome 13: MALEVOLENCE. They will be able to immerse themselves in Ghostface's memories while a local cartoonist parodies him in the local newspapers." Obviously this won't work."
And, of course, later this month will be the Free Games Weekend, which runs from October 27 to November 1 for PC and consoles. And this is in addition to the new in-game event ghosts of daylightwhich starts October 13th. The event will allow players to take advantage of a variety of terrifying cosmetic items, as well as unlock new quests. Lobby and loading screens Dead by Daylight will feature scary pumpkins and eerie decorations, and players will experience new gameplay mechanics that require collecting and stealing “void energy.” Finally, daily login rewards will be available, encouraging players to log in every day.
