The Elden Ring mod from weapon developer The Roaring Forge adds gorgeous new dual fans to FromSoftware's RPG. With so many of the best Elden Ring weapons to choose from, surpassing anything offered in Dark Souls or even Bloodborne, experimenting with new toys is always the highlight of one of the best open world games on PC. But if you're looking for something special to inspire your next game, Tempest and Thundercrash could be the centerpiece you're looking for.

The Tempest and Thundercrash Elden Ring mod from weapon maker The Roaring Forge adds a pair of dual fans to your repertoire - one in sparkling silver and blue, the other in shimmering gold and red. In-game text describes them as "the glittering stone of the forgotten witch of Rydlander and the heart of the dragon priest, wedded to steel", which is quite an evocative description for such breathtaking designs - they are almost too good to use!

You'll want to put this pair to work once you get your hands on the Tarnished, with a nimble, whirlwind moveset complemented by a custom Ash of War spell that summons a powerful cyclone. By calling it, you can send this whirlwind storm to slowly but surely make a path through everything that is in front of you.

The weapon replaces the standard grapplers and their respective moveset, but in our humble opinion, it's definitely an improvement. Weapons can be used both separately and together in destructive form combinations. Personally, we love the two-handed heavy combo, which includes a massive uppercut that sends your character into the sky, followed by a short or long water dive combo, depending on the choice of input buttons.

You can see the new Tempest and Thundercrash weapons in action below, thanks to a pretty spectacular show from their creators at The Roaring Forge:

If you want to try Tempest and Thundercrash - and who wouldn't - then you can get your hands on them on the website Nexus Mods. These are not the only similar creations from The Roaring Forge. The team has also created several other great models, including a striking Norse-style scythe, ax and shield, perfect for fulfilling your God of War Ragnarok fantasies, and a rather attractive "sword spear" that offers exactly what its name promises.
