Looking for a new Fallout 4 mod that will completely change the way you play the game? Well, that's not it. Instead, the true champion of the modding community has done what no one else dares to do and added Bethesda's Todd Howard to Fallout 4, which could elevate the game above New Vegas as the best in the series.

Created by dpillari, "Todd Howard Cardboard Cutout" immortalizes the man of a thousand random phrases in Fallout 4, finally. You can place the cutout anywhere in the game's settlement mode, in 2K or 4K textures. You can find Howard in the decoration section of the statue when building a settlement.

The cutout even comes with two editions: the standard edition and the "it just works" speech bubble edition (which I'm sure you have to pre-order to get). This is a reference to Fallout 4's E3 presentation, where Howard said "it all just works" when talking about the open-world game's settlement mode.

To be honest, I don't think mods can get any better than this one. Total makeover mods like Fallout: London and Fallout: Miami go head and shoulders above here, but do they feature a Todd Howard cardboard cutout? Don't think. But seriously speaking, such projects are incredible achievements and demonstrate how large and detailed mods can be; on the other hand, this project highlights just how quirky they can be (and without a shadow of dpillari's modeling condemnation, that's awesome).

Creator dpillari has plenty of other mods, too, such as high-res item textures, additional in-lore parts for building settlements, recoloring and reworking some weapons in Fallout 4, and more. You can find the dpillari profile and the Todd Howard Cardboard Cutout mod on the website Nexus Mods.
