Halloween Sale Steam on the way. When it comes to your wallet, there is nothing scarier than sales. Steamand sale time Steam Halloween has already arrived. Valve is ready to scare you with low prices and great deals on many of the biggest and best horror games on PC, including the likes of Little Nightmares, Phasmophobia, Outlast, The Mortuary Assistant, The Forest and many others. However, the sale will only last one week at the end of October, so you'll have to hurry!

Halloween sale dates Steam Scream Fest - October 25 - November 1.

While many horror games have taken the opportunity to make the most of the spooky season by offering sales throughout the month, it's likely that many of the biggest and best deals will be around the event. There are certainly plenty of big names on sale, and they come in a variety of genres too - as Valve explains, "one person's creepy game may be another person's walk in the park," so there's plenty of variety to find the horror genre that's right for you.

The most popular games are likely to be the surreal platform game Little Nightmares, the screaming ghost-hunting co-op game Phasmophobia, and the frankly terrifying Outlast, but you'll find something to do even if you're not in the mood for total horror. For a less noisy pastime, a cooperative survival game The Forest will allow you to team up with friends to survive after a plane crash, build a camp together to protect yourself from mysterious mutants that roam the forest.

The trailer also features games like Darkest Dungeon, in which you lead a group of reckless but frail adventurers into battle against eldratic horrors in search of the greatest treasure. V Rising offers players the opportunity to build their own settlement in a top-down vampire game. Bloodborne-like game Thymesia, which topped the charts after its recent release Steam, offers plenty of fast-paced action that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Meanwhile, GTFO dares to ask the question: "What if Left 4 Dead was a lot more intense and scary?"

As soon as the sale starts, you can find it at this page in Steam. For a more complete list including other games such as Devour, Gloomwood, Lunch Lady, Chernobylite and more, you can watch the official trailer for the event below:

If you're wondering what games will be on sale during the sale, the new charts Steam help you keep track of them. Developer Steam, Valve's company, has its own mysteries at the moment: Valve's new "Neon Prime" brand has sparked a lot of speculation among fans - although it's unlikely that it has anything to do with the ongoing Half Life 3 saga, so put your red threads aside for now.
