A new update for Total War: Warhammer 3 has been released that fixes a couple of rather annoying bugs in the fantasy strategy game. One of the bugs was randomly giving units immortality on the battlefield, while another prevented Immortal Empires from launching under certain conditions. Patch 2.2.1 fixes both of them.
Both errors appeared after the release of update 2.2 for Total War: Warhammer III. The first bug caused units to lose the limit on the amount of healing they could receive after being resurrected, causing the units to effectively become immortal. It was especially frustrating to discover this problem when you were on the opposing team.
The second bug was somewhat more mundane, but no less disturbing: due to a scripting bug, the Immortal Empires campaign would sometimes fail to run if the player was using a mod that changed factions and races.
The Creative Assembly reports that the Total Warhammer modding community brought this issue to the team's attention and it has now been resolved in the fix 2.2.1 - therefore, our sincere gratitude to the attentive modders.
