В Destiny 2 The Lost Sector now has an increased exotic drop rate for solo players on Legendary and Master difficulties, per patch notes posted by Bungie earlier today. Increased Exotic Drops in Lost Sectors Destiny 2 on Legendary and Master difficulties happened after a four-hour break.

Change the number of dropped items in Destiny 2 The Lost Sector came amid complaints that the current recommended power level for such actions is 1830 for Legendary Lost Sectors and 1840 power for Master Lost Sectors. From a relative point of view, this makes them noticeably more difficult than in previous versions. The seasonal power limit is 1850, which gives players a maximum advantage over opponents on Master difficulty by only ten points. As a result, some players say they are not worth playing as they offer minimal rewards and only a small chance of getting an Exotic piece of equipment.

For those unfamiliar with how Legendary Lost Sectors works, this is an opportunity for players to obtain exotic armor pieces they don't already have, or higher stat versions of the armor pieces they currently own. Legendary and Master Lost Sectors rotate daily on the Daily Reload of the game, and armor rewards rotate between Exotic Head, Arms, Chest, Legs, and Class Armor.

However, after the introduction of Lightfall, players have stated that the increased difficulty of the Lost Sectors does not justify the meager rewards and low chance of obtaining exotics.

It seems that Bungie's decision increasing the number of items dropped was a response to this criticism. All of this is happening against the backdrop of questions about complexity. Destiny 2 lightfall. While Vanguard Ops playlist missions and Neomun patrols have increased difficulty compared to their comparable predecessors, missions such as the Contest Mode raid Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares seems to be much easier.

Luckily, the drop rate changes show that Bungie is at least listening to player feedback on issues such as rewards for completing harder missions. However, given that Bungie hasn't revealed how much the item drop rate has increased, there's no way for players to know if these Lost Sectors are worth spending time on without a lot of trial and error.
