While we still don't know the exact release date for Starfield, a recent interview with a senior Microsoft official revealed that yes, it will be released sometime after Redfall. Both Bethesda's RPG and Arkane's newest shooter were delayed at the same time earlier this year, with release dates for both yet to be confirmed.

This comes from an interview with Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty, who spoke on the Friends Per Second podcast and talked about how Bethesda and director Todd Howard are not just making Skyrim in Space with Starfield, but are instead aiming for something more. .

"I've had the opportunity over the last year and a half or so to spend more time with Todd Howard and see how he works and see what he brings to game design, I'm sure he's not going to sit back on what has been created before. ".

“It's not [Howard's] approach to go in and reskin something is it? So, from my point of view, there will be a lot of things moving forward in this game. […] what primarily concerns me is the visual style.”

Booty also confirms that Redfall will be released earlier than Starfield, which likely means Bethesda's RPG will release around May/June, as Booty said Microsoft will be "looking at the calendar" after Redfall's release in Starfield. You can find Booty's answers about Starfield in the video (in English) below (at the 1:25:30 mark).

While it's still a long way from release, there's a lot to be excited about in Starfield, such as how Starfield Reddit looked at traits and thinks we could "kill" our parents in the game when we remove the respective trait, or how fans Elder Scrolls NPCs look like they're making a comeback space RPG.

We also recently interviewed Starfield with a former Bethesda developer who talked about developing universe-wide, creating an entirely new gaming universe, and how the team has adapted to both.
