Are you looking for actors and characters in the series The Wolf Pack? Following the release of Teen Wolf this week, Paramount+ is soon releasing another supernatural mystery project with Jeff Davis as showrunner. Wolf Pack is a sequel to Davis' Teen Wolf, based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom.
Now that Scott McCall (played by Tyler Posey) is an adult, four other teen heroes will take on the title of "teen wolf." After being killed by a supernatural creature during a forest fire, Everett and Blake meet two siblings who have gone through a similar transformation. As they all try to understand how they became werewolves, they eventually become one as a "pack".
With the series airing on January 26th, it's time to get to know the new werewolves on stage. With a cast that includes Hollywood icons and up-and-coming actors, here's a breakdown of the show's main characters and who will be portraying them.
Sarah Michelle Gellar as Christine Ramsay
In a city where supernatural beings coexist, there must be an authority responsible for investigating unusual events and protecting civilians. Christine Ramsay takes on the role of an arson investigator trying to uncover mysterious circumstances going on in her circle.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for her starring role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is no stranger to the supernatural or teen genre. In the late 90s, the actress starred in the films I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2 and Cruel Intentions. A few years later, she played Daphne Blake in the Scooby-Doo franchise (where she met her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.). She's made occasional TV appearances on The Ring and Mad Men, but the Paramount+ original will mark her return to the small screen since 2014.
When she's not filming, Gellar lends her voice to the Netflix animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation and founded her own e-commerce startup, Foodstirs.
Gellar spoke about her experience with Jeff Davis at the Teen Wolf panel at San Diego Comic-Con:
“Everything these guys said about the family and atmosphere at Jeff's shows is really true. I hope you guys will join us!”
Armani Jackson as Everett Lang
Everett is a very anxious and lonely teenager going through a difficult situation at home. When he is bitten by a supernatural creature during a forest fire, things only spiral further out of control. After meeting Blake and two siblings who also happen to be werewolves, he finally finds the opportunity to make meaningful connections.
Armani Jackson plays Everett Lang on the series, and this is not the first time the actor has worked for a Paramount Plus production. He was one of the leads in the streaming platform's YA film The Honorable Society, alongside Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo. In 2022, Jackson played a supporting role in the indie film Palm Trees and Power Lines, which premiered at Sundance 2022.
Bella Shepard as Blake Navarro
Having experienced problems in the family, Blake becomes closed to others. This makes it difficult for her to find people she can trust and rely on. When Everett and the twins appear in her life, Blake gradually warms up to them and understands that together they are able to protect their society from chaos.
After starring in TV shows like Grace and Frankie and Life in Pieces, Bella Shepard is ready to play the title character in The Wolfpack.
Chloe Rose Robertson as Luna Briggs
Luna is an outsider looking for a sense of belonging. After meeting other werewolves like her, she finally finds the pack she's longed to be a part of. However, as the series progresses through turning points, Luna will experience more than just the outward transformations associated with her supernatural state.
This is Chloe Rose Robertson's first major screen role. Previously, the aspiring actress starred alongside Kiernan Shipka and Alexandra Daddario in the film Wildflower. This indie project premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Tyler Lawrence Gray as Harlan Briggs
Harlan is Luna's brother and doesn't quite fit in with the popular crowd. A fagot who plays by his own rules, Harlan bonds with the other teenage werewolves he meets after a forest fire.
Like his co-stars, Tyler Lawrence Gray will make his television debut in The Wolfpack. He previously starred in the short film KidCoin, about two teenage con artists hoping to pull off a cryptocurrency scam. The actor will also join the cast of Feeling Randy, a road movie from writer-director Dean Lent that is currently in post-production.
Rodrigo Santoro as Garrett Briggs
As the adoptive father of Luna and Harlan, Garrett takes it upon himself to protect his children from the supernatural reality they live in. He also works as a park ranger and hides some of his own secrets under his passion for nature.
In The Wolf Pack, Garrett is played by Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro, who has already established a career both in Hollywood and abroad. Best known for playing Laura Linney's romantic interest in Love Actually and playing King Xerxes in the 300 franchise, Santoro got his start on screen in Brazilian telenovelas and acclaimed films. The actor had several cameo roles in other television projects, including Lost and Westworld.
Speaking with Omelete about the Wolf Pack at the 2022 Comic Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Santoro talked about the environmental and social aspects of the series:
“It’s a completely different story (compared to Teen Wolf). It has an environmental theme and we start (the series) with a forest fire that usually happens in California every year. At its core, The Wolf Pack is a series about the consequences of the separation between humans and nature. Of course, there is a plot and characters, but we touch on environmental issues and the concept of family. The family you were born into and the family you choose to join.”
