Looking for information about the release date of Nancy Drew season 4? The CW has announced the premiere date for the fourth and final season of Nancy Drew. The series returns Wednesday, May 31 at 20:00 pm ET. The series finale will air on August 23 along with the Riverdale series finale.
Nancy Drew premiered in 2019, introducing viewers to a slightly older iteration of the infamous mystery solver. In the first season, Nancy (Kennedy McMann) was a recent high school graduate hoping to leave her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine, to pursue higher education. However, her plans change after she becomes embroiled in a supernatural mystery. Unable to resist a good mystery, she and her friends set out to solve a murder.
In Season XNUMX, Team Drew came face to face with Nancy's ancestor, Temperance Hudson (Bo Martinowska and Olivia Taylor Dudley). As the season came to an end, Temperance was on the verge of destroying Horseshoe Bay, and the team barely managed to stop her for good. However, Temperance dealt them the final blow: she revived the corpses from the cemetery. She also cursed Nancy so that if she tried to show her feelings for Ace (Alex Saxon), disaster would befall her. Season four will continue to develop this theme as the stakes continue to rise. Little is known yet, but showrunners Noga Landau and Melinda Hsu Taylor have promised that season four will be a "worthy and resonant conclusion."

Nancy Drew was created by Landau, Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz. The additional cast includes Leah Lewis, Maddison Jaizani, Tunji Kasim, Riley Smith, Scott Wolf, Carmen Moore, Genia Ross, Aria Lee and Geraldine Chiu. It is currently not revealed if the new season will feature new regulars or guest stars.
Season 4 of Nancy Drew premieres Wednesday, May 31 at 20:00 pm ET on The CW, and will air on The CW app and website the following day. Seasons 1-3 are currently streaming on HBO Max.
