In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Valve sent for sale Steam Deck turkey roaster user. While this is more of an oversight than a charity gift, it's not like the recipient won't take advantage of it until they get comfortable with a portable gaming PC.

An additional item was accidentally sent to Reddit user Throwaway19712654876 who was only expecting a refurbished soundboard. While most people prefer to pair their device with the best docking station Steam Deck, having an air fryer can prove beneficial to many, especially at this time of year.

By showing a screenshot from an email, the user is showing the rest of the Reddit thread proof that the item was indeed sent by Valve. However, there seems to be some confusion as the developer Steam Deck thinks Throwaway19712654876 was the one who sent the turkey roaster. According to the company, the cooking device belongs to the user, although the author of the message claims that it is definitely not his.

Going deeper into this mystery, another person named ThorGanjasson thinks he might know what happened. They say Valve is using Ingram Micro, a wholesaler based in California. Ingram is also partnering with companies like Amazon, Samsung and Walmart to swap inventory.

According to ThorGanjasson, most likely someone on the distribution side accidentally put the fryer in the kit with the refurbished Steam Deck. This seems to tie a ribbon around the elusiveness of the item, but it also sadly means someone could be left without a turkey this Thanksgiving.
