As Remy from Ratatouille once said, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat good things.” Disney Dreamlight Valley is a surprisingly tasty game, and I'll keep reaching for more and more bowls until someone asks me to put it down.

Haven't tried yet? Check out the gameplay Disney Dreamlight Valley right here. Most likely, I'm not alone in this opinion: since the launch in early access ten days ago Disney Dreamlight Valley gathered more than 1 million players. The news was transmitted directly through game twitter account, which says, “We’re so excited for you to discover what it means to #LiveMagically. Thanks for your excitement, feedback and for sharing the game with your friends. This is just the beginning! "

Before anyone accuses me of being an adult Disney fan who will obviously be excited about this game, I've never been into Disney. Sure, I have an affinity for borderline cult classics like Ratatouille, but I frankly don't care for things like Frozen and Tangled.

Considering this, Disney Dreamlight Valley does a great job of appealing to just about everyone who picks it up: young or old, Disney lovers or haters, those who enjoy the grind or are completely disconnected from it. This quirky simulator has something for everyone, and as a result, I'm not surprised that so many players have joined the game.

As mentioned in the tweet Disney Dreamlight Valley, this is just the beginning for the game. Gameloft's roadmap earlier this week revealed that there's even more content to come, including appearances from characters from The Lion King and Toy Story.

In addition, today Gameloft released the first patch for the game, fixing the problem with finding Dream Shards. I may have spent seven hours that evening trying to find one Dream Shard... and it shows just how easy it is to waste time in this game. It's a delightful, fun world to escape to and get lost in!
