New leak from Genshin Impact shared new details about a pair of Abyssal enemies coming to the game with the 3.5 update next week. The latest updates to the hit role-playing game HoYoverse have added a lot of content: locations to explore, new characters, various tasks and events. Version 3.4 expanded the Sumeru Desert to include several unique puzzle-solving mechanics, as well as new enemies for the rocks and valleys of the region. A couple of enemies from the Abyss will now appear in the next update of the game.
Version 3.5 of the game Genshin Impact, which will be released next week, will include a lot of new content around the game world. The main event of the update, the Windblume festival, will force players back to the Mondstadt region, and a new Archon quest chapter will welcome the return of Dainsleif. A special program for version 3.5 talked in detail about a new addition to the story of the Traveler, where the focus of the quest will again be the Abyss. Now, a recent leak gives more information about the two Abyssal enemies that will appear with him.
A new leak Genshin Impact from the Chinese forum NGA reveals some of the new mechanics introduced in both the Rockbreaker Ax variant of Black Serpent Knight and the Frost Fall variant of Abyss Herald. The Black Serpent Knight variant includes a "berserk" mechanic after attacking characters with a shield, giving him bonus damage and resistance, as well as temporary HP immunity. The Berserk Status also grants Rockbreaker Ax's attacks Geo damage with an eleven-second berserk status duration.
Frost Fall Abyss Herald will likely be one of the main bosses in the new Archon Quest and will have similar mechanics to the domain in the game. Herald of the Frost Abyss will have a stamina reduction mechanic where some enemy attacks will reduce the player's stamina, similar to the Forsaken Rift domain in Mondstadt. The enemy will also occasionally hit players with AoE cryo attacks, as well as a mechanism that creates a shield when the Void Herald is low on HP. Both enemies are expected to appear in the Archon quest version 3.6.
The new Knight of the Black Serpent and the Herald of the Abyss aren't the only enemies planned for the game in the near future. A leak late last month revealed that version 3.6 would introduce several new enemies, including variations of the classic hilihurls. Rumor has it that version 3.6 will also feature a new Trounce Domain, adding a second weekly boss, Sumeru, to the game. Featuring new enemies, characters and story, upcoming versions Genshin Impact promise to add a significant amount of content to the role-playing game.
