Grab a friend and go to Steam Next Fest to try new PC games. You can even try a few of them, including the Diablo-style co-op From Space, which replaces demonic hordes with pink horrors from outer space.

From Space trailer

Usually when we use the term "pink horrors" it's because we're planning a siege in Total War: Warhammer III, but this band of beasts has never heard of Tzeentch. Aliens have arrived, clogging the sewers, roads and parking lots of rural America, and it's up to you (and possibly up to three friends) to tactically remove them from the AO.

This includes taking them down with a variety of upgradable weapons and gadgets that you'll find as you explore From Space's hilariously rendered map. Since this is an alien invasion of the United States, everything starts in a trailer park and then moves underground to the sewers.

While the alien threat is uniformly pink in color, they come in all shapes and sizes: there are crawlers that, uh, crawl at you; jumpers who have turned into toads, and larger aliens that look like brawlers who will wave the working end of a stop sign at you. These aliens aren't too rough—From Space's visual style is bright and cartoony, and the aliens all look like neon pink variations of Domo-kun.

You can, of course, and alone, but it's more fun to invite friends with you. Radios located in From Space safe areas call up your friends list in Steam, so you can easily send an invite to anyone who owns the game.

From Space release date set for November 3rd, but you can play multiplayer demo now free. You can also check out the best bagels of 2022.
