This is a big week for Team Ninja. In addition to debuting the awesome game Rise of the Ronin at Sony's State of Play earlier this week, the Japanese developer has also launched a demo of its upcoming upcoming game. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

We already knew that the new game, set during the Three Kingdoms era of China's dynastic history, would be getting a demo "in the near future," but thanks to Tokyo Game Show, we can all enjoy it right now!

Look at Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty gameplay is here.

However, you need to hurry up: the test will not be delayed for long (most likely because you need to be constantly online to enjoy it). Get ready to die. Often.

The action-packed demo includes one level of play (just like the Nioh alphas before it) and gives us a glimpse into the dark world of the Three Kingdoms that Wo Long calls home.

Koei Tecmo's press release promises that everyone who completes the demo will receive a special "Crouching Dragon Helmet" item that can be equipped and used in the main game when it releases in early 2023.

No, it's not Elden's ring.

The publisher also notes that a survey will be available in the demo to collect player feedback and help further develop the game. We've seen this before in Nioh, and the difficulty of the game has been tweaked based on feedback to better suit players.
