As for the information that has been confirmed, London police announced that an arrest had been made. in Oxfordshire as part of an investigation by the National Cybercrime Unit NCA UK. GTA V, latest news , released part of a series that received a next-gen update earlier this year!

The hacker behind GTA 6 said earlier this week that he wants to make a "deal" with Rockstar (thanks gamebyte), but it's been quiet since then. Rockstar Games did confirm that the asset leak was legal, which led to an influx of support from the industry and numerous other developers posting their own early builds of the game to show that the GTA 6 that the world was able to see thanks to the leaks is unlikely to be like final product.

The hacker arrested Thursday is believed to be associated with a group known as "Lapsus$," according to Matthew Keys. They are also believed to organize and communicate through Telegram, a publicly available encrypted messaging app.

As of now, police or other agencies have not provided any details about the arrest, so we'll have to wait and see if this alleged hacker was indeed the culprit behind the GTA 6 leak.
