If you've ever wanted a little more BioWare in your Skyrim, check out the Skyrim Warden of the Coast mod. A complete downloadable content adventure inspired by Mass Effect and Dragon Age, some of the best RPGs outside of the Bethesda Elder Scrolls series. loyalty missions, offering the player a story with multiple endings based on choices.

Created by Gabriel "TheBawb" Johnson, the Skyrim Warden of the Coast mod takes you to an isolated island where the Daedric lord of destruction, Mehrunes Dagon, has once again unleashed the maw of Oblivion. To stop him, you'll team up with 9 companions, each fully voiced, level up as you progress, and have their own BioWare-style loyalty questline. Their opinion of you can be changed through dialogue options as well as quest choices, such as who you choose to kill or spare.

As you'd expect from games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect, you can take up to three companions with you on your journey, which is said to take roughly 10-15 hours for a single playthrough. However, you will most likely want to replay it after you watch it to the end - there are five main endings offered depending on the path you choose. Warden of the Coast, originally spotted on DSOGaming and features "over 9000 lines of expertly voiced dialogue" from 27 voice actors, making it feel more like an official add-on than a fan-made mod.

Of course, this wouldn't be a BioWare-style addition without a little love in the air, so there are seven different romance options in total that you can use. TheBawb says they are planning an update that will allow your chosen romantic partner to become a marriage candidate in the main game after completing the quest chain. They also hope to add some casual banter between your active group members to really add to the BioWare vibe.

To begin your new adventure, you'll first need to complete The Path of the Voice, a main quest in which you'll face the Greybeards at the peak of High Hrothgar and learn how to use your dragonborn screams. Once this is done, you can start your journey by visiting any of the major cities in the main game.
