We know the game can make you feel hungry, so now the Oblivion mod lets you order pizza in Bethesda's classic RPG and have it actually delivered to your doorstep. Ever since the 2005 MMORPG EverQuest II launched Pizza Hut's collaboration with the company, allowing players to type /pizza into an in-game chat window to order a delicious meal without shutting down the game, the idea of ordering real food in the virtual world has been a lofty aspiration. Now you can do it in The Elder Scrolls IV.

Originally, modder Nickies (who goes by Nikies42 on Nexus Mods) said that they made the mod - which allows you to order Domino's pizza by talking to NPCs in the game - as an experiment, and that they released it publicly "just to to prove to the stream that I’m not lying or faking the video where I place an order.” However, after the video began to gain popularity online, Nicky decided that they would "put some effort into making it more convenient for others."

After installing the mod, ordering pizza is quite simple. Simply find an NPC named Pizza Nickies Black, who can be found outside Weye, near the entrance to the Imperial City Bridge, and tell him you want regular pizza. Since the pizza is in prototype, Nicky notes that "order customization is still not implemented and may never be implemented," so by default you'll get a 12-inch thin crust pizza, eight garlic breads, and a bottle of Fuze lemon tea, total the cost of which (at the time of writing) is $28,23.

Nickies notes that if you know the Domino's product codes, you can enter them into a text file wonderfully named "pizza.py" that stores all your order details and customize what gets delivered as a result. Of course, the whole process is much more complicated than just going to your favorite pizza delivery service's website (there are other options) and placing an order there, but what's the fun in that?

Of course, this mod comes with a few important caveats. Currently only available in the US, it requires you to enter your delivery address and your payment card details into a file, which then uses a Python wrapper for the Domino's Pizza API to connect to the internet and place an order with Domino's. Thus, Nickies emphasizes - as we do - that you use this mod at your own risk. But how can you name the price of pizza? If you are still determined to try it yourself, you can find Nickies' Pizzablivion on Nexus Mods.

In August, Pizza Hut continued its expansion into the video game market with the introduction of a co-op game Genshin Impact A Pizza Hut that became so overcrowded that the local police had to shut it down for security reasons. If you want even more weird Elder Scrolls tweaks, why not check out some of the best mods for Skyrim? Meanwhile, a former Bethesda developer who worked on the series is creating a new horror hunting game called The Axis Unseen that they say is five times better than Skyrim.
