A lot of fantastic Cyberpunk 2077 mods for the open world game from CD Projekt Red have been released, but the most important of them has already been released - a mod that allows you to pet Nibbles the cat after she returns it to Vee's apartment. With so many things to do and see in an RPG, it's entirely possible to skip Nibbles altogether. However, if you take a few minutes to chat with her, you can return the Sphynx cat to Vee's apartment as a permanent resident.
After collecting the rodents, V will gently stroke her and tickle her under the chin. However, from now on, you can't actually interact with the cat - it just hangs around in your apartment. It's certainly a welcome place to socialize amid Night City's ruthless, neon-drenched cyberpunk dystopia, but it would be nice to offer your feline friend a little comfort. All you get is the "Hustle" prompt, which makes V giggle warmly at the sight of their buddy.
Luckily, mod creator Deceptious is here to save the day, with the perfectly named "pet the cat Cyberpunk 2077 mod. Once it's installed, you can use the shower or wardrobe after greeting Nibbles and you'll be able to offer her some pets. However, you won't be able to do this if she's sleeping—Deceptive notes that you can leave the apartment to reset her position, but adds, "Let her sleep!"
Following user feedback, Deceptious has also added another cyberpunk cat companion in the form of Nali for the Glen apartment. Nali can use twelve different places in the apartment, and you can also pet it using the same method as with Nibbles. The mod is also compatible with the xBaebsae mod, this cat substitute mod if you don't want to have a sphinx.
