FIFA 23 ATV cards are special dynamic versions of the player's gold card that improve throughout the season based on how they perform in real life. A player is only eligible to receive a special One To Watch card if they have recently moved to a new club. OTW marks the start of special events for a football game and signals the start of the game cycle.

These cards can be your team's mainstay based on their actual performance, as they can receive updates if a player is in the Team of the Week or if they receive a Man of the Match card. This is different from players in FIFA promotions 23 Heroes or Icons as they cannot be ranked higher. Here is the current batch FIFA players 23 OTW.

FIFA 23 OTW Player Update

As mentioned earlier, an OTW player needs to perform well in real life and earn a "Team of the Week" card in order to receive in-game upgrades to the same stats as in the TOTW version. EA also brought back the "Wins to Watch" mechanic from FIFA 22, giving OTW cards a chance to get a one-time update. If an OTW player's team wins three of the next eight league games from September 30, they will be eligible for an upgrade even if they did not play matches or receive a TOTW version.

In addition, OTW players have a new opportunity to get promoted through the Nations to Watch program, which runs during the World Championship in November and December. As with Wins to Watch, OTW players have a chance to receive a one-time promotion if their national team wins a game during the World Cup. The player only needs to be part of the nation that won the match, they don't need to be on the team list to be promoted. For example, if Brazil had won their first game in the World Cup without playing Richarlison, he would still have been promoted even if he did not participate in the match.

How to get OTW players

The only way to ensure you get a non-tradable player OTW in FIFA 23 is to pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game by September 30th. It's worth keeping an eye out for the latest SBCs in the game, some of which feature OTW players. like awards. In addition, you need to open packs within a certain period of time in order to have a chance to get one of these cards.
