Do you want to know what new characters Genshin Impact? During each new update, there is usually at least one banner with one brand new character. The banners feature characters with increased drop rates, including one five-star and three four-star characters.
Nahida and Layla appeared in update 3.2 and in the banners of the next Genshin Impact, but there are also leaks and datamining of information about new faces that may appear in the future. While none of this information is official until Hoyoverse says otherwise, here are all the current rumors and speculation.

Nahida
Kusanali/Nahida is the name of Archon Dendro for the Sumeru region, who, like Venti and Raiden Shogun, is now a playable character. Leila

Scaramouche
Scaramouche - No. 6 of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui; he introduces himself as a "tramp from Inazuma" who attempts to betray and kill the Traveler during the event "Irreconcilable Stars": Star of Destiny. He was officially announced by the Hoyovers under the name 'Wanderer'.
Faruzan
Hoyoverse announced Faruzan, described as "The Mysterious Machinist" and pet name Kharawatat. While we don't know her weapon yet, she does have an Anemo element and it looks like she will be coming in update 3.3, although her release date has not been confirmed.
Deiha
Rumors about Deiha are highly speculative at the moment, but one thing we know for sure is that she will be involved in the initial Sumeru storyline in the 3.0 update. Deikha is a "hermit", a mercenary working for the Hermites, a new faction that appeared in Genshin Impact, who are descendants of an ancient civilization living in the desert. A Genshin Mero leak claims we won't see Dehia "until" update 3.4, and there is controversy over its rarity.
Haitham
Although Alhaitham was initially discovered in June 2022 under a different codename, he was officially introduced in the third preview video to Schumeru as a participant in the initial 3.0 storyline. Apparently you'll meet him "by chance" in Port Ormos, and he's a representative of Sumeru's ruling body, the Academy. There are currently no rumors about if (or when) he will be released as a playable character.
Dinsleif
Dainsleif, Guardian of the Branches was officially announced by Hoyoverse during Tokyo Game Show 2020 - but no release date was given. A voice actor has been announced, but we don't have any word on when he might appear.
Dainsleif hails from Khaenri'a, an underworld that is not part of Teyvat itself - so perhaps we'll meet Dainsleif sometime in the future as we explore his homeland.
Yaoyao
Yaoyao is a charming NPC who is mentioned in several characters' voice lines. She was Xiangling's junior student when they both studied under the same master chef, but has now become Ganyu's assistant.
She is featured in the official art above, but that's all we know at the moment. The current rumors are that she will be a four-star character.
Baizhu
Baizhu - NPC from Genshin Impact, owner of Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue. He has a vision for Dendro, which has led fans to speculate that he might one day become a playable character.
Lini and Lynette
Lini and Lynette were featured in one story clip - a pair of twins supposedly dressed as wizards - they hail from Fontaine, a region inspired by France. There is speculation that they could be recruited as a pair and could switch places with each other in battle - although this may be nothing more than a cool idea.
yansan
Iansan was also featured in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline video in the Natlan section. We believe she is a pyro user, but we will have to wait until visiting Natlan to learn more about her.
