The release date for Honkai Star Rail was confirmed in a big livestream held ahead of the game's launch, which also revealed a ton of other details, including the exact release time of the game, when pre-load starts and the recently released PlayStation version.

When will Honkai Star Rail be released?
Honkai Star Rail release date: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 HoYoverse confirmed the news during their Performances in March.
It also became known that in addition to iOS, Android and PC, Honkai Star Rail will be launched on the PlayStation. However, it looks like the JRPG will debut on the Sony console a bit later.
What time will Honkai Star Rail come out?
Honkai Star Rail will launch on Wednesday, April 26th at 3am ET.
When does preloading start for Honkai Star Rail?
If you want to get ready for the launch of Honkai Star Rail, you can also preload it on your device from Sunday, April 23rd.
Preload will be available via Apple App Store for iOS via Google Play for android and Epic Games Store on a PC.
Honkai Star Rail Pre-Registration Rewards
Ahead of the release of Honkai Star Rail, you can pre-register and get notified as soon as it becomes available, and also earn yourself some exclusive rewards. These rewards are based on the total number of people pre-registered, as well as several other milestones.
So far, over seven million players have pre-registered with Honkai Star Rail. Here is a complete list of optional Honkai Star Rail pre-registration goals:
- The number of pre-registered people reaches 500: Credit ×50 000
- The number of pre-registered people reaches 1: Star Railroad Ticket ×3
- The number of pre-registered people reaches 2: Avatar Pathfinder - Welcome ×1
- The number of pre-registered people reaches 3: Four-Star Character Serval (Erudition: Lightning)
- The number of pre-registered people reaches 5: Star Railroad Ticket ×15
- The number of subscribers in social networks reaches 2: Star Rail Pass ×2 and Credit ×50
Honkai Star Rail system requirements
Honkai Star Rail minimum specifications have been disclosed for some platforms but not others.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you'll need iOS 10.0 or later, and according to the App Store, the base version of Honkai Star Rail will be 3,4GB in size.
For Android, Honkai Star Rail's listing on the Google Play Store does not include a file size or minimum required Android version.
The PlayStation version was only announced this week and we don't have specs yet.
On the Epic Games Store, the minimum and recommended PC specs are the same:
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5 processor
- Memory: 8 GB
