Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo Release Date

The demo for Resident Evil 4 Remake was released on March 9, alongside the Capcom Spotlight demo. Otherwise known as the Chainsaw Demo, this early version of Resident Evil 4 Remake is available to download for free on PC at Steam, as well as on PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw demo features the infamous village brawl that longtime fans will recognize from the opening of the original version. Unlike many previous demos released in the series, this demo has no time limit and you can play it as many times as you like on the platform of your choice.

The Capcom Spotlight showcase was specifically dedicated to upcoming games. Ahead of the show, Twitch viewers received a premature advertising for the Chainsaw demo, which made it clear to fans that the demo of the beloved action horror game was only hours away.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw demo is certainly interesting, but Capcom also gave us a free prequel ARG before the official launch for the amateur detectives Among Us.
