If you want to climb Dehyu, the last 5-star Pyro character in Genshin Impact 3.5, you will need Sumeru's local delicacy, Sand Grease Chrysalis. Similar to Kokomi's Sango pearls, these quicksand larvae husks always spawn in the same places and don't require any additional conditions to collect, such as the electrical ability required to harvest a cherry blossom. Moreover, this Ascension material follows the same 48-hour rebirth schedule; after you have collected it once, you must wait two real days before buying it again from the same place.
The best places to farm Sand Grease Pupa in Genshin Impact
We visited every possible Sand Grease Pupa site in Sumeru, from the underground tunnels near Ghoul Pass to the ruins of Safkhe Shatranj. From our testing, we can safely say that the two best places to grow this Ascension material are in Genshin Impact are the north and south tunnels of Wenut. Not only do they contain most of the Sand Grease Pupa nodes in one place, but they are all relatively easy to navigate and don't require complicated detours from the nearest teleport waypoint. Of course, this does not mean that you should not visit other places in the Hadramavet Desert, but those who have little time and want to focus only on the best place should choose the Venut Tunnels.
First, start your journey at the Wenut Tunnels waypoint on the east side of Ghoul Pass. Pass through the large cave entrance ahead and follow the underground path to Genshin Impact, collecting the Sand Grease chrysalis along the way. Eventually, you will reach a fork. Follow the right path and explore the pile of rocks to get into the sand chamber below. Collect the last few pupae in the area before returning to the Wenut Tunnels waypoint. Then enter Setekh Venut's lair, but don't start the fight. Instead, explore the outer edge of the cave to collect more Sand Grease pupae in Genshin Impact. This two-part game should bring you about three dozen dolls.
