Luckily, they aren't too hard to find, considering they make a noise whenever you get close to them. Alas, Leon must retrieve this stolen jewel! Here's how to complete the Jewel Thief side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
How to Complete the Jewel Thief Side Quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake
This particular side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake is at the very beginning of Chapter 12. After taking the elevator up to the merchant's hideout and before heading to the Clock Tower, there are two blue notes on the wall directly opposite the carriage.
The Jewel Thief side quest requires us to return a stolen gem that was snatched by a thieving crow. It also says that we can find this gem somewhere in the yard, in a bird's nest. So, instead of going to the Clock Tower, head back there.
This crow sends us on a geese chase. You will probably see him and hear him scream as you approach the courtyard, where you will find him sitting on top of the entrance pillar in the very center. Approach him and he will fly towards the Merchant.
Return to the merchant's hideout nearby. If you listen closely, you will hear a raven somewhere near the Merchant's entrance. Step back and look up and you will see a crow's nest.
Shoot the nest until it collapses, and then you can take the Scratched Emerald from the floor below! Return it to the Merchant to receive three Spinels.
