Looking for where to find three Vipers in Resident Evil 4 to sell to a vendor? As if the mutated monsters weren't enough. The Valdelobos Mountains in Resident Evil 4 Remake are home to another kind of dangerous fauna: Snakes.
These fast, aggressive snakes show up from time to time throughout your adventure - even as a nasty surprise in unexpected places - and they're actually a lot more useful than they first appear. During Chapter 3, one of your first blue notice requests is to sell some for cash.
But in addition to participating in this quest at the beginning of the game where you sell three vipers to the merchant, the extra snakes you catch can also be used as a great source of healing, just like in another quintessentially Japanese Metal Gear Solid franchise.
That's right, vipers are not a unique item used only for a side quest. You can find a lot of items in Resident Evil 4, so don't worry if you missed one or have already mocked it to make room in your inventory.
To catch a viper, you can shoot it with a pistol and pick it up, but the most effective way is to use your knife. Hold L1/LB to aim more accurately, then press R2/RT to swipe.
If you are selling to a Merchant, all you have to do is go to the menu "Sell» the next time you meet him and pass the vipers. You don't have to do it all at once, you can sell one at a time if you want.

You have just passed the first snake you can find, inside a wooden box to your left as you enter the town hall. Quickly pierce it with a knife once the box is broken to retrieve it.

The second viper can be found in another crate once you pass the church and start moving towards the lake along the wooden path.
It's in the hut downstairs where the enemy with the torch stands, so it's probably best to clear the area of enemies before you start enchanting the snakes.
Finally, The third place to find Vipers in Resident Evil 4 is the Fish Farm. If you missed a snake along the way, you can catch up here.
When you walk on the water, you can see many snakes slithering along the surface and along the wooden structures at the water's edge. Again, there are a lot of enemies in this area, including one of these cow-headed super cool guys, so make sure it's safe before you focus on hunting.
These three locations should give you enough snakes to sell to the merchant, but a few more appear in the story zones. However, once you sell three, feel free to use any additional snakes you find as a heal.
