Spiral Abyss requires a combination of heavy single target damage and AoE damage, so be sure to bring different characters with you to complete the DPS checks required on this floor. Some of these enemies are tough, so you'll need well-built characters if you want to perfect this rotation.
How to get through the 12th floor of the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact
Each Spiral Abyss upgrade provides a unique buff to help you in battles in Genshin Impact. This update is called Profound Moon's Blessing: Reverberant Moon. This buff has the following effect:
“When the active character's HP is reduced, a shockwave will be released at the location of the character, dealing True DMG to nearby enemies. This effect can trigger once every 0,8 seconds."
Most of the time, each floor of the Spiral Abyss has a Leyline Disorder that can buff your team. However, like most residents of the 12th floor, you do not receive an additional buff. This means that the only buff you will get on the 12th floor in Genshin Impact , is the Blessing of the Profound Moon.
Which characters to choose to complete the 12th floor of Spiral Abyss?
This floor of the Spiral Abyss is a bit easier than the previous one, with not too difficult bosses. However, there are still some tricks to this spin that can make your brushing difficult. Here are some commands that should help you clear those floors smoothly and maximize your potential rewards:
- Don't forget to bring a bow character with you for your first team. Regardless of which team you manage, Eonblight Drake is the boss on this floor that requires you to shoot him out of the sky with a bow.
- Alhaytam / Nahida / Yelan / Kuki Shinobu is one of the strongest Hyperbloom teams with an impressive amount of single target damage and AoE. High damage from Alhaitham, Nahida and Yelan will also cut heavy HP on this floor. Yelan can bring down the Eternal Rot dragon, and Alhaitham and Kuki Shinobu can quickly deal with the Overwatch Web boss's Semi-Eternal Matrix Algorithm.
- We also recommend Arataki Itto / Zhongli / Albedo / Gorou or other options for this floor. The bulkiness of this team, as well as Itto's high damage output, make Team Geo a very attractive option indeed. If you choose to use the Geo command, you should only consider them as your second command, as they won't help much in the semi-intransitive matrix algorithm boss in the first half.
- Xiao / Zhongli / Faruzan / Bennett synergizes with Blessing of the Abyssal Moon of this rotation and has strong AoE damage in the second half of this floor. Xiao should deal with these enemies with ease, especially the Magu Kenki triple boss in the last room.
12th floor: Ward 1
In the first half, you will have to fight two waves of enemies. First, you will face a group of Ruin Hunters, Ruin Destroyers, and Ruin Defenders. These enemies will spawn quite close to each other, so go to the center to make sure they stay grouped, which will allow you to deal more AoE damage easily. After that, you will have to fight two Consecrated Beast enemies.
These enemies really make this Spiral Abyss rotation Genshin Impact challenging as these enemies are bulky and deal damage. Write down their attack patterns and maybe win one at a time. Be sure to bring along a strong healer or defensive item to help you survive as you try to break through the barrage of devastating attacks.
In the second half, you will have to defeat three waves of enemies. As in the first half, you will have to face some consecrated beast enemies. Geo-characters can cut through the devastating effects of these enemies, making it easier for you to clear them. Prior to Sanctified Beasts, you will fight some simple mushroom enemies and Kayrags. As a reminder, the Kairagi must be defeated at the same time to avoid their HP refill mechanic.
Genshin Impact 12th floor: Ward 2
In the first half The Eternal Dragon returns to Ward 2. This boss is quite simple in terms of mechanics, making this fight more of a DPS check to see if you have enough damage and nested characters. Aeonblight Drake will fly in the air. The two jets on the sides of his head or the chest area of this boss will light up. Use your bow character and shoot the illuminated areas of the boss as he flies into the air. This will stun the boss, causing him to fall to the ground. The second time this boss takes off into the air, he will predestinate an attack with a flurry of air bombs.

In the second half, you will have to defeat two waves of enemies. The first wave consists of three Hydro Hilichurl rogues. Head towards the one in the center and the other two enemies will group up towards you. After that, you will have to fight four hermit enemies. These enemies can spawn additional monsters. When you defeat this monster, the hermit that spawns it will take heavy damage and be briefly stunned.
Genshin Impact 12th floor: Ward 3
In the first half, you will have to defeat the Overseer Network Semi-Intransitive Matrix Algorithm boss. This boss is very difficult, but Dendro plus Electro units will make it pretty easy. The boss will spawn with reduced damage. After a while, the boss will become invisible and rush towards the place he encountered. Chase the boss while invisible and perform the haste reaction. This will stun the boss, allowing you to deal a lot of damage, and also bring him out of stealth.
