This will happen after you complete the Beyond Light campaign, after which you can complete missions for the Exo Stranger and Variks. Complete all of these missions and you will be able to complete Variks' sabotage missions.
Your next step is to hit the road and complete the Europa Explorer I and II missions. To do this, you need to kill a lot of enemies, and then you will need to go in for Empire Hunt to kill the powerful enemies needed for the various tasks that these missions entail.
