Since the launch of the PC version of Modern Warfare 2, the game has experienced glitches and crashes related to a certain Nvidia graphics card driver. Now the FPS game is approaching the launch of the first season, and support studio Beenox has announced that there is now an updated driver for Modern Warfare 2 PC that should improve multiplayer performance.
Nvidia 526.47 drivers have been causing major issues for many PC gamers, with Beenox recommending sticking with older drivers to avoid crashes and performance issues while playing. It will now be much easier for Nvidia owners to play Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer matches on PC as the new driver is designed to fix issues that will hopefully not interfere with your progress in obtaining Modern Warfare 2's best weapons.

“This new Game Ready Driver delivers the best gaming experience for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II,” Nvidia writes. “Specifically, this new Game Ready Driver provides improved stability, addresses image corruption issues, and supports NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and NVIDIA Reflex.”
That's right, the PC port of Modern Warfare 2 now supports DLSS super resolution and Reflex, with the latter allowing you to measure and optimize latency in your Call of Duty game. Beenox warned that there is still a DXGI adapter bug that requires a clean install and driver reset.
"To be clear," says Beenox. “The DXGI adapter issue that occurred yesterday is related to our work and is not related to the latest NVIDIA driver, which significantly improves gameplay and stability. We encourage all our PC players to upgrade."
