World of Warcraft is free to play until November 20th, and that includes all expansions released to date, right up to Shadowlands. If you have an old, abandoned WoW account, you can return to Blizzard's MMORPG for free to check out the new pre-expansion event Tempest Unleashed and prepare for Dragonflight.
From November 17 to November 20, anyone can play all of World of Warcraft without a subscription. This is full access to the game, so you can check out all the World of Warcraft additions that have appeared since you last logged into the game. “Join your guild, unite your comrades, and prepare to fly,” Blizzard says in official announcement.
Blizzard also advises you, if you haven't played the game in a while, to check out the new Exile's Reach Starter Experience, which you can enter at level one. After that, you will only have to level up in the selected expansion until you reach level 60, and then you will be ready for Dragonflight. Check out the Dragonflight launch schedule for more information on when things will happen.
Please note that Free Weekends are not available in World of Warcraft Classic.
